CLINICAL CASE OF CONGENITAL PREAURICULAR FISTULA
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents a case of recurrent congenital preauricular fistula with an unusual fistula course. To diagnose and «clarify» the localization of the fistula, a “non-classical” diagnostic method for this pathology was used - magnetic resonance imaging with contrast. The presence of a constant inflammatory process and granulations in the fistula course made it possible to clearly differentiate the fistula course and pathologically changed soft tissue from healthy ones, which made it possible to completely remove the fistula without complications.
