The state and structure of functioning of the pharmaceutical industry and its most numerous subjects - pharmacy organizations are one of the leading factors affecting the formation of public health. The constant increase in the number of pharmacies in the country and the expansion of the range of products sold in them have led, on the one hand, to high rates of physical availability of medicines, and on the other - to a situation where supply outstrips demand. In such cases, competition among pharmacies, and, above all, their network associations, increases. To maintain competitiveness and maximize profits, pharmacies have to choose strategic resources and capabilities that will allow them to create long-term competitive advantages.
